"I balance between academics and athletics by taking the help where it is offered. In order to balance a busy schedule, I like to have good people around in order to make it easier to stay calm and get stuff done."
How do you handle pressure and maintain mental resilience during high-stakes competition?
"The way I maintain mental resilience during high stakes competition is taking a moment closing my eyes and just breathing to calm and slow everything down."
What are your career or college plans after you graduate high school?
"I plan to get a degree in secondary education and continue my football career."
What advice do you have for younger athletes who want to join your sport?
"My advice for younger athletes is to do it, no matter if it's your first year or your fifth year. Sports is a great place to meet new friends and be a part of something fun."
Do you have any funny pre-game rituals or superstitions that you stick to?
"Drinking a limon cucumber Gatorade."
If you were to participate in a talent show unrelated to your sport, what would your act be?
"Break dancing, not because I'm good at it, but because it would be cool."
